How an XSS attack steals your login cookie
A comment box can be used to steal your login.
XSS means cross-site scripting: someone posts a comment that is really a script. If the site puts it into the page as is, every visitor's browser runs it, and it can send their session cookie to the attacker.
The fix is escaping: every < becomes < and every > becomes >, so the browser shows the comment as text and never runs it. Send this to whoever builds your forms.
