How to remove category description from category page in OpenCart
In order to remove category description from category page, you should perform the following steps:
- Navigate to your hosting server and access the File manager using your cpanel or FTP connection.
- Find the category.tpl file that is located in catalogviewthemethemeXXXtemplateproductdirectory.
- Open the file with any code editor. You can use the default code editor on the cpanel:
- Locate the following code (approximately lines 17-27).
- Remove the following:
- Save the changes. Refresh the site to see the changes.
